The Remke TUFF-FLEX Cord Grip Connector
features a molded rubber cone that is tapered for improved
cable stability. This continuous-flex connector offers a more compact
size with a slimmer profile for easier installation
in tight spaces. The unique design of the TUFF-FLEX
connector is ideally suited for applications where repetitive
movement of control and power cable occurs such as with
robots and automated equipment used in material handling
and welding.
The rubber cone of the TUFF-FLEX connector matches
cable arc-of-bend specifications to eliminate damage
and its 100% rubber construction outlasts PVC designs
as it resists hard knocks, splitting and cracking. Available
in straight, 45 and 90 degree styles, TUFF-FLEX high-flex connectors
handle cables ranging in size from .562” through
1.375” in both 1 1⁄4” and 1 1⁄2”
knock-out sizes. Special ‘swivel’ versions
are also available for those applications producing
cable rotation as well as cable flex.
